A pharmaceutical company had 50 reps calling on over 200 managed care organizations. These reps were responsible for more than 15 products across six therapeutic areas. This was a daunting task; so was ensuring that the information they presented comply with very stringent and complicated regulatory guidelines.

Provide a slide distribution system that would allow a rep to create and customize a convincing slide presentation which included all the approved information that would promote a favorable result while ensuring that none of the rules or regulations was violated.

Needs

The slide distribution system which contained all the approved slides had to ensure that mandatory slides were included (often subject to slides selected) and slide "groupings" were enforced. Many of these slide groupings were large and had to maintain a specific order. Another requirement was that only approved slide titles and client specific logos be placed on the opening slide of the presentation. While the managed care representative had a fair amount of discretion on what they could create and download, once downloaded the order and contents of the presentation could not be altered.
